An Embodied Exploration

5 Recorded SessionsRest · Rhythm · Everyday practiceMandarin Chinese

Content

This series re-examines the boundary between ‘rest’ and ‘work’ through embodied experience. Why do we sometimes stop working without actually feeling rested? Does work always have to mean depletion? Through pauses, breath, movement, housework, lying down, dance, and writing, the course explores personal rhythm, effort, and restoration.

Format

1 thematic somatic workshop and 4 everyday practice studios focused on housework, lying down, movement, and writing.

Duration

  • 1 thematic workshop
  • 4 × 90-minute practice sessions

Who It’s For

For people who feel chronically busy, mentally overactive, or still tired even after resting. Also suitable for those who want to bring somatic practice into ordinary life rather than keeping it separate from everyday activities.
